Story
A female customer was troubled that in stores only sells costumes for men. She was looking for a glamorous patterned costume for women, so she custom-ordered one from me. I selected a colorful fabric for her.

This costume, hitatare was made using a kimono.
I made it because my customer wanted a eboshi that can be worn over a riding helmet.
Costumes Identical to Those in Old Pictures of Samurai
Story
This Samurai costume was made for use in the photo studio in Aizu city. This costume is a copy of a photo of a 160-year-old DAIMYOU named Katamori Matsudaira.
Aizu is the place where KATAMORI was born and raised. Many tourists visit there. You can have your picture taken in his style at the photo studio “KOBAYASHI” in Aizu city.

Stage costume
Story
He is an actor. He was looking for a costume in a Japanese fantasy style. He wanted a color that created an innocent image and would look great in the moonlight. I chose a white and light purple gradation fabric.
He likes purple, so I used purple for the string and other parts of the costume.

I make costumes by selecting an old KIMONO or KINRAN（ gold brocade）to your liking and budget. I often use old kimonos, because they have beautiful patterns.
How to Order
If you want me to custom-make your costumes:
1 Please email photos, drawings, or URLs as references, as well as you height and waist size.
2 I will quote you a price, how long production will take, etc.
3 You approve the project and pay.
4 Production normally takes between 1 to 2 months.
5 Once the product is finished, I’ll send you photos for you to approve.
6 We send you your new costume!
NOTE: I cannot accept returns or refunds. However, I will fix any errors made during production!
